Computer Village – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Computer Village, a DBA of Daus Technologies Corporation (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Computer Village provides IT services including managed services, technical support, consulting, hardware/software sales, and related communications. Services are delivered under applicable agreements, proposals, service tickets, or statements of work.
2. Communications Consent
By engaging with Computer Village, you consent to receive communications related to your services via email, phone, and SMS (text messaging), where applicable.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.
3. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
Program Description:
Computer Village sends SMS messages related to IT support services, including but not limited to:
- Support ticket updates
- Appointment scheduling and reminders
- Technician arrival notifications
- Service-related follow-ups
- Customer service communications
Opt-In Methods:
End users may opt in to receive SMS messages through one or more of the following methods:
- Submitting a support request via our website form and explicitly consenting to SMS communication
- Requesting support via phone and providing verbal consent to receive SMS updates
- Emailing or texting our support team and requesting SMS communication
- Becoming a customer and providing contact information in the course of normal service operations where SMS communication is reasonably expected
Message Frequency:
Message frequency varies based on the level of service activity and customer interaction. Users will receive messages as needed for active support and service-related communications.
Message and Data Rates:
Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-Out Instructions:
Customers can opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message received. After opting out, users will no longer receive SMS messages unless they opt in again.

6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to provide accurate contact information and to update it as necessary. Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their systems unless covered under a managed services agreement.
7. Payment Terms
Payment terms are defined in individual agreements, invoices, or proposals. Failure to remit payment may result in suspension of services.
8. Limitation of Liability
Computer Village is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to service interruptions, communication delays, or data loss.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
